12. SMS Consent — Verbal Opt-In via Voicebot
How We Obtain SMS Consent
When a customer contacts us by phone and requests a service quote, our automated voicebot collects the necessary information to prepare the estimate. At the end of the call, once all information has been gathered, the voicebot explicitly asks:
"Do you give us consent to send the quote via SMS to the phone number you are calling from?"
The customer's affirmative verbal response constitutes express consent to receive a one-time transactional SMS containing their quote. This consent is:
- Voluntary: The customer is never required to consent to SMS delivery.
- Specific: Consent is limited to delivering the requested quote — not for marketing, promotions, or newsletters.
- Recorded: All calls are recorded in their entirety. The customer's verbal consent is captured in the call recording, which is retained as proof of opt-in for compliance purposes.
Customers may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS received, or by contacting us directly.
